SweetRock

SweetRock has developed into one of Victoria's premier 1950s-1960s Rock'n'Roll Showbands over the years due to the energy and big voice of Joe Candy.

Joe has recently been joined by his daughter, Lisa Candy, who adds a lot of class, sass and powerful vocals to the band.

Together they have taken SweetRock to a new height and with the new lineup of musicans, the band delivers a powerful show that recreates the classic songs and dance tunes of the 1950s and early 60s.

Between them the members of SweetRock have shared the stage with Billy Thorpe, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Ronnie Burns & the Flies, The Zoot, Hunters & Collectors, The Masters Apprentices, Broderick Smith, The Strangers, Normie Rowe, Beach Boys, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Brian Ferry, Spiderbait, Sweet Painted Ladies and more.

Expect classic songs such as Poison Ivy , Johnny B Goode and Mocking Bird along with great costumes and high energy performances.
